What to Expect
Warm Welcome
You'll be greeted by our friendly team and invited to explore our kid-friendly waiting area while we prepare for your visit.
Tour & Introduction
We'll give you and your child a tour of our office, showing them the special equipment we use to keep teeth healthy and strong.
Gentle Examination
Dr. Andrea will perform a gentle, comprehensive exam, checking your child's teeth, jaw, bite, gums, and oral tissues.
Cleaning & Fluoride
If your child is ready, we'll provide a gentle cleaning and may apply fluoride treatment to help protect their teeth.
Education & Discussion
We'll discuss your child's oral health, provide personalized recommendations, and answer any questions you may have.
How to Prepare
- Talk positively about the dentist visit
- Read books about going to the dentist
- Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork
- Bring a list of any medications your child takes
- Bring your insurance information if applicable
- Let us know about any special needs or concerns
When Should My Child First Visit?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit a pediatric dentist by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth erupting—whichever comes first.
